A per-unit load curve will be generated from the values present in the boxes below for a 24 hour range. Any value between 0 and 1 can be entered or the 'up' and 'down' arrows can be used. When the user inputs the peak demand, the per-unit curve gets multiplied by this factor and the modified load curve is obtained.

Enter the Peak value of the load curve, Summer Normal Capacity or Available Capacity below and press the TAB key each time you finish entering a value in the boxes below.
Peak demand of the load curve KW
Summer Normal Capacity or Available Capacity KW
What percentage of valley would you like to fill? A blue curve is generated showing the modified load curve. Corresponding to this curve, number of PHEVs that can be charged off the grid and their charging schedule is displayed below.
Please enter a percentage here. This should be a number between 1 and 100.
Note: The available capacity for the 24 hr period is obtained above. But, intelligent systems are necessary to identify how many vehicles are plugged in and their battery state of charge (SOC) at any time in the 24 hour period. Aggegrated load control is necessary to optimise the number of vehicles charging so that at any point in time the total loading is not above the available capacity.
